Incorporated on 21 June 1999 as an e-commerce service provider, Commerce Dot Com Sdn Bhd was granted by the Government of Malaysia the exclusive right to implement and operate the Government’s electronic procurement system, ePerolehan.

Commerce Dot Com is an MSC-status company with a mission to provide their clients with state-of-the-art technology to enable electronic commerce particularly electronic procurement, which is safe, intuitive and convenient thus allowing buyers and sellers to transact more efficiently and leverage on their existing trading relationships.

Requirements / Problems / Issues
Clients wanted to manage employee incentives and performance, keep track of sales information and payments records. Online tracking, forecasting and reporting their sales including online billing. He was also looking for extended features like sales campaigns like direct mailer and discounts to be managed through one single system.

SoftSolvers Solution
SoftSolvers proposed a custom solution with robust architecture that is scalable for customers future business needs. It was designed to centralize sales and marketing processes of Commerce Dot Com.

Sales Resource Management was designed to centralize sales and marketing processes of Commerce Dot Com. It integrates many in-house applications like Soft Contact, TBS and Billing systems to provide timely and up-to-date sales information to Sales and Finance personnel for decisions.

Technology Platform
SoftSolvers used Commerce Server 2002, a flexible and generic architecture for commerce based applications. Rational tool suite was used for Requirements management, design, testing and defect management. In addition SoftSolvers used Visual Studio for development and VSS for configuration management.
