One of Scicom’s client from Hong Kong wished to have a Scheduling & Booking System, for their busienss, which should be a comprehensive tool for allowing Contact Center Managers and/or the Tutors to be rostered and view the schedules for a fixed period of time.
SoftSolvers Solution
SoftSolvers proposed a web based custom solution with robust architecture. Scheduling & Booking System was a comprehensive tool for allowing Contact Center Managers and/or the Tutors to be rostered and view the schedules for a fixed period of time.
The Scheduling & Booking system will eventually be part of the overall Scicom Business System and will consists of sub-systems including, Users profile, Interactive Voice Response (IVR), Scheduling & Booking System, Knowledge Management System, Billing & Student Registration System, Lesson Management System and SMS & Payment Gateway.
Technology Platform
SoftSolvers used Microsoft based a flexible and generic architecture for web based Scheduling & Booking System. The development was using ASP.Net and SQL Server 2005, Reporting Services, etc. This system also integrates with one another Linux based system using web services. Rational tool suite was used for Requirements management, design, testing and defect management. In addition SoftSolvers used Visual Studio 2005 for development and VSS for configuration management.
